A bill to amend section 303 of the Communications Act of 1934 to require that radio receivers be technically equipped to receive and amplify both amplitude modulated (AM) and frequency modulated (FM) broadcasts.

Authorizes the Federal Communications Commission to require that any apparatus designed to receive any amplitude modulated or frequency modulated broadcast be capable of adequately receiving a broadcast on all AM and FM frequencies, if such apparatus is shipped in interstate commerce or is imported for resale. States that such requirement shall not apply to aviation, marine or other radio apparatus excepted by rule of the Commission.
