A bill to amend title II of the Social Security Act to provide for voluntary agreements between clergymen and their employers to treat clergymen as employed persons.

Provides, under title II of the Social Security Act (Federal Old-age, Survivors and Disability Insurance Benefits), for voluntary agreements between clergymen and their employers to treat clergymen as employed persons. Prescribes the criteria under which service performed in the employ of a religious, charitable, educational or other tax-exempt organization by a duly ordained, commissioned or licensed clergyman of a church shall constitute employment for purposes of this Act. Sets forth the procedures for such elective coverage for clergymen as employees.
