Provides, under the Atomic Weapons Rewards Act of 1955, for the rewarding by payment of up to $500,000 to any person who furnishes original information to the United States: (1) leading to the finding or other acquisition by the United States of special nuclear material or an atomic weapon which has been illegally introduced into the United States or illegally manufactured or acquired therein, or (2) with respect to actual or attempted illegal import, export, manufacture or acquisition of special nuclear material or an atomic weapon.
Places the authority to determine such rewards with the Attorney General in consultation with the Atomic Energy Commission.
Extends for 5 years (to 1979) the compulsory patent licensing provisions of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954.
