A bill to amend title II of the Social Security Act to eliminate the 5-month waiting period for disability insurance benefits in cases of terminal illness.

Eliminates, under title II of the Social Security Act (Old-Age, Survivors, and Disability Insurance Benefits), the five-month waiting period for disability insurance benefits if the impairment is associated with a terminal illness or injury which is certain to result in death, as certified by a physician.
