Provides for payments for telephone costs of persons receiving supplemental security income benefits under title XVI (Grants to States for Aid to the Aged, Blind, or Disabled) under the Social Security Act.
Allows the reimbursement of up to 75 percent of the cost of local calls and 40 percent of the cost of long-distance calls for persons receiving maximum benefits.
