Interstate Compact - Title I: District of Columbia Authorized to Adhere to Interstate Parole and Probation Compact - Defines the terms used in this Act. Gives the consent of Congress to States, including Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Guam, and the District of Columbia to enter into compacts for cooperative effort and mutual assistance in the prevention of crime and in the enforcement of their respective criminal laws and policies.
Sets forth the terms and conditions of the compact.
Title II: Increase Authority of Parole Board - Permits the time a prisoner was on parole to be taken into account, in the discretion of the Parole Board, to diminish the time for which the prisoner was sentenced.
