Expresses the findings of Congress, including that Federal action is necessary to halt the flow of narcotics and dangerous drugs stolen from pharmacies, doctors' offices, and warehouses.
Provides that whoever robs or commits any burglary in any pharmacy, doctor's office or warehouse, of any narcotic drug (as defined in the Controlled Substances Act) shall be fined not more than $5,000 or imprisoned for not more than twenty years, or both. Imposes criminal penalties on any person who, in committing or attempting to commit such offense, assaults any person, or puts in jeopardy the life of any person by the use of a dangerous weapon.
