Directs the Secretary of Agriculture to make indemnity payments for poultry and egg products at a fair market value, to poultry and egg producers and processors who have been directed by the United States Government to remove their poultry or egg products from commercial markets because such products contained residues of chemicals registered and approved for use by the Federal Government at the time of such use.
Authorizes to be appropriated such sums as may be necessary to carry out the purposes of this Act.
States that the authority granted under this Act shall expire on December 31, 1977.
