Food Supplement Amendment - Defines the term "food supplement" for purposes of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetics Act to mean food for special dietary uses, and defines the meaning of "special dietary uses" as particular uses of food for man which meet specified requirements.
Prohibits the Secretary of Health, Education, and Welfare from limiting the potency, number, combination, amount, or variety of any synthetic or natural vitamin, mineral, or other nutritional substance or ingredient of any food for special dietary use if the amount recommended to be consumed does not ordinarily render it injurious to health.
