Urban Bikeway Transportation Act

Urban Bikeway Transportation Act - Authorizes the Secretary of Transportation to make grants to States and to municipalities wholly or partly within urbanized areas for projects for the construction of bikeways. States that such bikeways shall be for commuting and for recreational purposes and shall be located in urbanized areas.

Provides that the Federal share of any project shall be 80 percent of the total cost of such project. Authorizes to be appropriated to the Secretary to carry out the purposes of this Act, $10,000,000 per fiscal year out of the Highway Trust Fund, and $10,000,000 per fiscal year out of any other money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated.
