A bill to amend title XVI of the Social Security Act to reduce from 12 to 3 months the minimum duration of illness or injury which may qualify an individual (on the basis of disability) for supplemental security income benefits.

Reduces, under title XVI of the Social Security Act (Grants to States for Aid to Aged, Blind, and Disabled, from twelve to three months the minimum duration of an illness or injury which may qualify an individual (on the basis of disability) for supplemental security income benefits.
