Revises the Occupational Health and Safety Act by providing that employees (or their representatives) of a State or political subdivision of a State, who believe that a pattern or practice of unsafe or unhealthful working conditions or imminent danger exists in their work environment may request an inspection by giving notice to the Secretary of Labor or his authorized representative of such violation or danger. Sets forth the procedure for handling such notices. Sets forth the procedure for correcting conditions determined by the Secretary to exist.
Makes technical and conforming amendments to the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
