A bill to amend title II of the Social Security Act to provide that an individual who is entitled both to an old-age or disability insurance benefit and to a dependent's or survivor's benefit may simultaneously receive the larger of such benefits plus one-half of the smaller.

Provides, under title II (Old-Age, Survivors, and Disability Insurance) of the Social Security Act, that an individual who is entitled both to an old-age or disability insurance benefit and to a dependent's or survivor's benefit may simultaneously receive the larger of such benefits plus one-half of the smaller.
