A bill to amend the Atomic Energy Act of 1954 with respect to the granting of awards for inventions or discoveries contributing to the development, use, or control of atomic energy.

Provides, under the Atomic Energy Act, that awards may be granted for inventions or discoveries contributing to the use, development, or control of atomic energy after consultation with the General Advisory Committee of the Atomic Energy Commission (formerly only upon the recommendation of the Committee) and with the approval of the President.
