Provides that the Special Prosecutor shall be and is hereby made subject to removal only by: (1) the Attorney General for gross impropriety, gross misconduct, gross dereliction of duty, or for physical inability to discharge the powers and duties of his office, but for no other cause, or (2) the Congress pursuant to article II, section 4, of the Constitution. Requires the Attorney General to give thirty days' notice in writing to the Congress of his intention to remove the Special Prosecutor, setting forth in detail the reasons for such removal.
Provides that upon the request of the Special Prosecutor the head of any Federal department or agency shall: (1) detail, on a reimbursable basis, any of the personnel of such agency; and (2) provide any relevant information or materials, to the Special Prosecutor to assist him in carrying out his duties under this Act.
