A bill to amend the District of Columbia Police and Firemen's Salary Act of 1958 to increase salaries, and for other purposes.

Increases salaries under the District of Columbia Police and Firemen's Salary Act by 7.5 percent. Provides that increases in succeeding years shall not be less than: (1) the percentage change of the Consumer Price Index; or (2) the rates of compensation of urban police department officers and members, in areas of comparable size and having comparable crime rates.

Authorizes additional compensation for successful completion of course work leading to a degree in police science or administration.
