A bill to provide for the leasing for commercial outdoor recreation purposes of certain lands of the forest reserves created from the public domain, and for other purposes.

(LATEST SUMMARY)

Authorizes the Secretary of Agriculture to permit any person, association, partnership or corporation to use and occupy portions of the national forest system which are needed to provide commercial recreational facilities and services to the public.

Provides for the duration, rent, and other terms of such permits.

Requires each user to keep such records concerning the terms of the permit as the Secretary may prescribe, and grants the Secretary and the Comptroller General access to such records.
