A bill to amend title 38 United States Code, with respect to the effective date of reduction of certain awards.

Provides that the effective date of a reduction or discontinuance of compensation, dependency and indemnity compensation, or pension by reason of marriage or remarriage, or death of a payee shall be the last day of the month before such marriage, remarriage, or death occurs except that in the event of death and there is no surviving spouse, then such effective date shall be the day immediately following the date on which the death occurred
