A joint resolution establishing the birthplace of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., in Atlanta, Ga., as a national historic site.

Directs the Secretary of the Interior to acquire by gift or purchase lands in Atlanta, Georgia, comprising the birth place of the Reverend Doctor Martin Luther King, Junior, as the Secretary may deem necessary for the purpose of establishing such birthplace as a national historic site. Authorizes necessary appropriations to carry out the provisions of this joint resolution.
