A concurrent resolution calling for a free and united Ireland.

Expresses the sense of the Congress that the continuing violence in Northern Ireland is a matter of international concern and the the longrun solution to the problem is a free and united Ireland.

Urges the United States Government, in consultation with the Government of Ireland, to take steps to put the situation in Northern Ireland on the agenda of the United Nations Security Council and of the General Assembly, and there to seek a peacekeeping force to be sent and a resolution recommending that the people of all Ireland be given the opportunity in a referendum to determine whether Ireland shall continue to be partitioned or shall be free and united.
