A BILL
To amend the John D. Dingell, Jr. Conservation, Management, and
Recreation Act to reauthorize the National Volcano Early Warning and
Monitoring System.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. NATIONAL VOLCANO EARLY WARNING AND MONITORING SYSTEM
REAUTHORIZATION.
Section 5001(c) of the John D. Dingell, Jr. Conservation,
Management, and Recreation Act (43 U.S.C. 31k(c)) is amended--
(1) in paragraph (1)--
(A) by striking ``United States Geological Survey''
and inserting ``Secretary''; and
(B) by striking ``2019 through 2023'' and inserting
``2026 through 2030''; and
(2) in paragraph (2)--
(A) by striking ``National Oceanic and Atmospheric
Administration'' and inserting ``Secretary of
Commerce''; and
(B) by striking ``2023 through 2024'' and inserting
``2026 through 2030''.
