A bill to take certain land in the State of California into trust for the benefit of the Jamul Indian Village of California, and for other purposes.
Jamul Indian Village Land Transfer Act
This act takes approximately 172.10 acres of specified lands in San Diego County, California, into trust for the benefit of the Jamul Indian Village of California. Land taken into trust shall be part of the tribe's reservation.
The act requires the Department of the Interior to accept title to, and place into trust for the benefit of the tribe, an additional 1.1 acres of land (upon transfer to the United States by, or on behalf of, the tribe).
The act prohibits gaming on the land taken into trust.
