To require the Inspector General of the Department of Housing and Urban Development to testify before the Congress annually, and for other purposes.
HUD Transparency Act of 2024
This bill requires the Office of Inspector General of the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to annually testify before Congress.
Specifically, the office must testify regarding
Referred to the Committee on Financial Services, and in addition to the Committees on Ways and Means, Oversight and Accountability, Energy and Commerce, and Veterans' Affairs, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned.
