To amend title 10, United States Code, to include the hardening of infrastructure in support of disaster mitigation in the definition of humanitarian and civic assistance.
Disaster Mitigation through Military Service Act
This bill authorizes the Department of Defense to conduct, in conjunction with military operations, humanitarian and civic assistance activities that include the hardening of existing infrastructure in support of disaster mitigation.
