To amend title 5, United States Code, to provide that agencies may not deduct labor organization dues from the pay of Federal employees, and for other purposes.
Paycheck Protection Act
This bill prohibits federal agencies, including the U.S Postal Service, from deducting labor union dues, fees, or political contributions from employee pay. Under current law, an agency must deduct union dues upon receiving a request from an employee.
