To provide for research and improvement of cardiovascular health among the South Asian population of the United States, and for other purposes.
South Asian Heart Health Awareness and Research Act of 2023
This bill authorizes the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to award supplemental grants to states for heart-disease research and awareness among communities disproportionately affected by heart disease, including the South Asian population of the United States.
