To amend the Help America Vote Act of 2002 to require the District of Columbia to accept a current and valid photo identification of an individual which is issued by a Tribal Government for the purposes of registering to vote and voting in a District of Columbia election, and for other purposes.
American Confidence in Elections: District of Columbia Tribal Voter Identification Act
This bill requires the District of Columbia to accept a current and valid photo identification issued by a tribal government as sufficient identification to register to vote, receive a ballot, or cast a voted ballot in an election.
