To amend the Public Health Service Act with respect to the determination, termination, and renewal of public health emergencies, and for other purposes.
PHE Congressional Review Act
This bill requires Congress to regularly review whether to continue or end a declared public health emergency.
Specifically, each chamber of Congress must meet within six months of a declaration of a national public health emergency, and every six months thereafter until the emergency ends, to consider a vote on a joint resolution as to whether to end the emergency.
