To amend title 28, United States Code, to authorize removal of an action or prosecution against a President, Vice President, former President, or former Vice President, and for other purposes.
No More Political Prosecutions Act
This bill allows a current or former President or Vice President to remove to federal court a civil action or criminal prosecution brought against them in state court. Under current law, removal in this situation is limited to cases that involve official actions.
