To authorize the Secretary of Education, in coordination with the Secretary of Health and Human Services, to award grants to eligible entities to support the mental and behavioral health of elementary and secondary school students, and for other purposes.
Connecting Students with Mental Health Services Act
This bill requires the Department of Education (in coordination with the Department of Health and Human Services) to carry out a grant program for eligible entities to support the mental and behavioral health of elementary and secondary school students. An eligible entity is a partnership between (1) a local educational agency or a consortium of such agencies, and (2) a community health care provider or an educational service agency.
