To require the Administrator of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration to establish a grant program to benefit coastal habitats, resiliency, and the economy, and for other purposes.
Don Young Restoration Grants for Coastlines and Fisheries Act of 2023
This bill requires the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration to establish a grant program for projects that (1) restore marine, estuarine, coastal, or Great Lake habitats; or (2) provide adaptation to climate change. State, local, and tribal governments, nonprofit organizations, businesses, and institutions of higher education may apply for grants.
