To require the Secretary of Energy to complete a long-range strategic review of the Northeast Home Heating Oil Reserve and the Northeast Gasoline Supply Reserve, and for other purposes.
Bolstering Northeast Heating Oil and Gasoline Reserves Act of 2023
This bill requires the Department of Energy to (1) complete a long-range strategic review of the Northeast Home Heating Oil Reserve and the Northeast Gasoline Supply Reserve, and (2) develop an action plan that includes an estimate of the resources required to attain and maintain the reserves' long-term sustainability and operational effectiveness.
