A bill to amend title 5, United States Code, to limit the use of taxpayer funded union time for employees of the Internal Revenue Service, and for other purposes.
IRS Customer Service Improvement Act
This bill prohibits the use of official time for specified union activities by employees of the Internal Revenue Service during the periods each year (1) beginning on February 12 and ending on May 5, and (2) beginning on September 1 and ending on November 1.

Referred to the Committee on Ways and Means, and in addition to the Committees on Oversight and Reform, and Financial Services, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned.
