Advancing American AI Act
This bill requires specified federal agencies to take steps to promote artificial intelligence (AI) while aligning with U.S. values, such as the protection of privacy, civil rights, and civil liberties. For example, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) must issue policies and procedures for DHS related to the acquisition and use of AI and considerations for risks and impacts related to AI-enabled systems.
