To amend title XIX of the Social Security Act to allow States more flexibility with respect to using contractors to make eligibility determinations on behalf of the State Medicaid plan.
Freedom to Use Contracted Entities Act
This bill allows state Medicaid programs to contract other entities to make eligibility determinations, as long as the contract does not include incentives with respect to such determinations.
