A BILL
To amend title 54, United States Code, to authorize the appropriation
of $10,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2023 and 2024 to the Secretary
of the Interior to carry out the National Maritime Heritage Grant
Program.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE NATIONAL MARITIME
HERITAGE GRANT PROGRAM.
Section 308703 of title 54, United States Code, is amended--
(1) in subsection (b)(1), by inserting ``subsection (k)
and'' after ``amounts for that purpose under'';
(2) in subsection (c)(1), by inserting ``subsection (k)
and'' after ``amounts for that purpose under''; and
(3) by adding at the end the following:
``(k) Authorization of Appropriations.--There are hereby authorized
to be appropriated to the Secretary $10,000,000 for each of fiscal
years 2023 and 2024 to carry out this section.''.
