To impose sanctions with respect to the transfer of arms and related materiel by the People's Republic of China to the Russian Federation or the evasion or circumvention of United States sanctions or multilateral sanctions by the People's Republic of China with respect to the Russian Federation, and for other purposes.
Deter PRC Support to the Russian War Effort Act
The bill authorizes the President to impose sanctions on persons associated with China for financial, material, or technological support contributing materially to Russia's military action in Ukraine. The sanctions include, for example, blocking transactions in U.S. property and prohibiting U.S. entry visas.
