To amend title 49, United States Code, to clarify the use of detection at range technology for the screening of passengers, and for other purposes.
Detection at Range Technology for Screening of Passengers Act
This bill requires the Transportation Security Administration to ensure that any advanced imaging technology used for screening aviation passengers consider privacy, civil rights, and civil liberties consistent with applicable laws, regulations, and guidance.
