To amend the Controlled Substances Act to direct the Attorney General to register practitioners to transport controlled substances to States in which the practitioner is not registered under the Act for the purpose of administering the substances (under applicable State law) at locations other than principal places of business or professional practice.
Medical Controlled Substances Transportation Act of 2022
This bill allows health care practitioners who are already registered by the Drug Enforcement Administration to dispense certain controlled substances to also obtain a separate registration that allows them to temporarily transport and administer these substances in other states in which they are not registered.
