To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to exempt a portion of unemployment compensation received during 2020 from income taxes.
Coronavirus Unemployment Benefits Tax Relief Act
This bill excludes from gross income, for income tax purposes, up to $10,200 of unemployment compensation received by an individual in a taxable year beginning in 2020.
