To require the Director of the Office of Management and Budget to issue guidance relating to reporting by agencies on Federal financial assistance programs that do not provide Federal financial assistance during the 1-year period preceding the date of the report.
Dormant Government Program Accountability Act
This bill requires the Office of Management and Budget to issue guidance directing federal agencies to report annually on programs and revolving funds that (1) provide federal financial assistance, and (2) did not provide federal financial assistance during the previous year.
The reports must include a list of the programs and funds, an explanation of why federal financial assistance was not provided, and the amount of budget authority that is available for each program or fund.
