To extend reemployment services and eligibility assessments to all claimants for unemployment benefits, and for other purposes.
Building on Reemployment Improvements to Deliver Good Employment (BRIDGE) for Workers Act
This bill allows states to use funding for reemployment services and eligibility assessments to serve all workers receiving unemployment benefits—not just those most likely to exhaust their benefits. The bill also allows states to provide reemployment services to individuals receiving pandemic unemployment assistance and pandemic emergency unemployment compensation.
Referred to the Committee on Ways and Means, and in addition to the Committees on Rules, and the Budget, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned.
