To help prevent emerging events exacerbated by climate change, which threaten national and international security, by enhancing United States Government capacities to prevent, mitigate, and respond to such events, and for other purposes.
Rapid Response to Climate Impacts Act
This bill requires the Department of State to establish a Climate Impacts Task Force, which must seek to prevent and mitigate the potential for national security risks arising from climate change and related social conditions.
