To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to recognize Indian tribal governments for purposes of determining under the adoption credit whether a child has special needs.
Tribal Adoption Parity Act
This bill allows Indian tribal governments to determine whether a child has special needs for the purposes of the adoption tax credit.
Referred to the Committee on Ways and Means, and in addition to the Committee on Education and Labor, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned.
Read twice and referred to the Committee on Finance.
