This resolution designates the week of October 5-October 9, 2020, as Malnutrition Awareness Week and recognizes the work of nutrition professionals and others in advancing awareness and prevention of malnutrition.
It also recognizes the importance of federal nutrition programs and other efforts in preventing and treating malnutrition, particularly during the COVID-19 (i.e., coronavirus disease 2019) pandemic.
