A bill to provide support with respect to the prevention of, treatment for, and recovery from, substance use disorder.
CARA 2.0 Act of 2020
This bill expands various programs and activities to address substance use disorders, including by requiring research on prevention strategies and treatment modalities; supporting workforce education and training; revising federal regulation of opioids; and increasing access to medication-assisted treatment and other recovery services.
