A bill to provide for the temporary funding of the expansion of eligibility of unemployment compensation to respond to the COVID-19 public health emergency, and for other purposes.
Coronavirus Unemployment Insurance Expansion Act
This bill temporarily reimburses at a rate of 100% states that choose to expand unemployment compensation payments to individuals who are unable to work due to circumstances related to COVID-19 (i.e., coronavirus disease 2019).
