A bill to amend title XX of the Social Security Act to provide low-income individuals with opportunities to enter and follow a career pathway in the health professions, to extend and expand demonstration projects, and for other purposes.
Pathways to Health Careers Act
This bill extends, revises, and provides funds for certain demonstration grant programs to train low-income individuals for jobs considered part of the health care career pathway. The Department of Health and Human Services must provide targeted technical assistance to grantees and conduct an evaluation of the demonstration projects.
