A bill to amend title 28, United States Code, to provide for the appointment of additional Federal circuit judges, to divide the Ninth Judicial Circuit of the United States into two judicial circuits, and for other purposes.
Judicial Reorganization Act of 2019
This bill creates a new U.S. court of appeals by dividing the current U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. The newly created U.S. court of appeals shall have jurisdiction over Alaska, Arizona, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington.
