A bill to require the Secretary of the Interior to study the suitability and feasibility of designating the President James K. Polk Home in Columbia, Tennessee, as a unit of the National Park System, and for other purposes.
James K. Polk Presidential Home Study Act
This bill directs the Department of the Interior to conduct a special resource study of the James K. Polk Home and adjacent property in Columbia, Tennessee.
In conducting this study, Interior shall evaluate the national significance of the study area and determine the suitability and feasibility of designating it as a unit of the National Park System.
